Many times a lot of people sign up to gyms and use the same equipment over and over again. You would generally find the bodybuilders in the corner with the weights and majority of ladies will be on the CV machines (bikes, treadmills, rowers etc). A lot of the time people sign up to gyms with common goals, Lose weight, stay fit, look skinny, gain muscle, become stronger. All is good until they realize 6 months down they are still looking the same with no improvements.


Personal Trainers such as myself optimize individual clients training programs and get them to where they want to be. A good Personal trainer would not only work hard with you in the physical activities department, but also the nutrition and psychological department.

Common Myths about exercise and nutrition

#1 "The more you exercise , the stronger and fitter you will get."

- False , Training 3 times a week for 20 minutes at High intensities are much more productive than 7 days a week training. The body builds muscle during the rest periods not exercise periods.

#2 "Snacking makes you fat."

- False, The total number of calories you consume each day is the more important rule. Not how much you consume them

#3 "Muscle turns into fat"

-False, Just as fat can't transform into muscle, muscle won't transform into fat. Building muscle and losing body fat are two completely different processes and, while this can be done simultaneously, it is very rare

#4 "Lose your love handles & gut by doing ab exercises"

In reality: Ever see the guy laying in the corner doing thousands of sit-ups in his quest for a six-pack? While he may be developing unbelievably strong abs, he won't be doing anything to reduce the layer that is covering those muscles. In order to see this specific group of muscles, you must lower your overall body fat percentage,
